Terminal Car Parks (formerly known as short stay) offer the perfect blend of accessibility and flexibility, with fees starting at £8.00 for up to 29 minutes and rising to £98.00 for a full 24-hour period. This car park is Park Mark approved and operated by Heathrow Airport, which adds extra security features. You can also use it for Heathrow drop-off parking for a day or two.

Heathrow Drop-Off & Pick-Up Charges

Heathrow charges £7 each time a vehicle enters a terminal forecourt drop-off zone. The zones are for drop-off only: picking up and waiting are not allowed. Cash is not accepted on site: payment is online or via the official app, and you have until the end of the day after your visit to pay. A missed payment brings a Penalty Charge Notice of £80, reduced to £40 if you pay within 14 days.

The free first period in the long-stay car park, followed by the shuttle, avoids the fee altogether. For longer stops, pre-book a short-stay space. • From the south & the M3 — the M25 clockwise to Junction 14/15.

Each terminal has its own sat-nav postcode. The daily ULEZ charge applies to vehicles that are not ULEZ-compliant. Heathrow is also served by the Heathrow Express, the Elizabeth line, the Piccadilly line and National Express coaches for travellers who prefer not to drive.

The ULEZ Zone at Heathrow

Heathrow Airport is subject to the Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) standards, which improve air quality by discouraging the use of higher-emission vehicles. The airport is committed to reducing its environmental impact and supporting London's efforts for cleaner air.
